Things of the past...

Remembering Stonewall

IThe Stonewall Riots, also called the Stonewall Uprising, began in the early hours of June 28, 1969, when NYC police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club located in Greenwich Village in New York City. The raid sparked a riot among bar patrons & neighborhood residents as police roughly hauled employees & patrons out of the bar, resulting in 6 full days of protests outside the bar. The Stonewall Riots served as a catalyst for the gay rights movement in the United States & around the world. More than 50 years later, we have made significant progress, but discrimination against individuals in the United States on the basis of their gender identity &/or sexual orientation continues.

Join Morghan at 7:30pm for an interactive webinar workshop discussing Pride, gay rights in 2021, & LGBTQ+ healthcare in America.

Building Relationships That Bridge Our Lifespan

When we were 10, our relationships looked very different. Our most important relationships may have been with our parents. Or, possibly, with our friends. When we were 20, our relationships that mattered most to us changed. Our relationship structures ebb & flow over the course of our lifetimes, and our relationship quality & constancy also evolves. Sometimes, this can be unsettling. Our relationships with other people are crucial to our biologic well-being.

Join Morghan Monday, February 22 at 7:30pm for a socially distanced interactive webinar workshop on the relationships that we have in real life--not the lives portrayed on IG, TV, FB, or elsewhere, how these evolve over the course of women's lifespans, & how to ensure that we are intentionally building the relationships we need--to last a lifetime.

Weight A Minute!

Have you made a resolution to reach your ideal body weight? What is it? How do you know? Are all pounds made equal? Is the scale really the best way to assess progress? Why did I gain a pound when I only ate 1 piece of cake? Ideal body weights and BMI calculations can cause confusion & can be misleading.

Join Morghan Monday, January 25 at 7:30pm for a socially distanced interactive webinar workshop on healthy weight, why it varies from person to person, what might affect it, & how you might find out what your best weight is
